Rockcastle Farm is located in Goochland County. We are introducing bantam eggs. Bantams ar special little birds, 1/2 to 1/4 the size of standard chickens. They lay very small eggs that are the perfect size for children. Our chickens free range on pasture and eat all natural food. One of our flocks has just started laying eggs, and when they begin laying, the eggs are medium in size. After a few weeks they get up to a large size. The duck eggs are wonderful for baking.
