We have chickens, and sell eggs. We do not use anything special to induce laying.

The chickens are part time free range, no hormones, antibiotics, and/or steroids. Besides quality chicken feed from Hertzler's, they get culled organic vegetables from a local natural food store and weeds and things from Epic Gardens.
Are there any animal products in feeds?
No, except for the bugs and small critters they find during their free time.

Compost, chicken litter, cover crops, all integrated into a logical system.

We mulch heavily and use as little water as practicable, applied strategically.
